Menas Hiras grew up in Holmdel, New Jersey, surrounded by a large Greek family and his community church ((Kimisis Tis Theotokou). His upbringing meant he understood the value of giving back, which he does when the chance presents itself. Growing up, he participated in G.O.Y.A (Greek Orthodox Youth Association), Greek Folk Dancing, community service, Sunday school, and Greek school. Now in his early 20s, Menas participates in activities like community feeding programs.

During his free time, Menas enjoys working out. He is a HUGE fan of sports. He used to play for the varsity soccer team back when he was in high school and indoor soccer during the winter. He also plays baseball and basketball, is a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, and considers Stephen A. Smith and Lebron James his heroes. Although he likes TV shows like Game of Thrones, Peeky Blinders, Power, Breaking Bad, The Wire, Prison Break, and The Sopranos, he wouldn’t pass up the chance to watch Lebron play. Oh, he won’t say “NO” to a round of Fortnite either.

Menas plans to apply for law school after he graduates. He is currently working as an intern in a recruitment firm, an experience he claims is different from his summer jobs in landscape design.
